FORMATION OF LITERARY COMPETENCE OF HIGH SCHOOL PUPILS BY MEANS OF INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES

Abstract

The author of the article investigates the problem of forming the literary competence of high school students by means of innovative technologies. On the basis of the analysis of the legal framework governing the content of modern school literary education, she considers literary competence as the readiness and ability to work with texts of various artistic and aesthetic systems, cultural and historical eras, worldview orientations, traditions and styles: to understand the meaning of what is read, with to clarify the author's position and the artistic means of conveying it to the reader, to create one's own meanings on the basis of what has been read, to express one's own (sometimes critical) position in relation to what has been read, to perceive a work of art as a factor in the formation of life experience and socio-psychological and socio-cultural formation. The author of the article characterizes the components of literary competence, in particular emotional-value, literaryknowing, cultural and comparative competence of the individual. At the same time, based on the analysis of scientific literature on the research problem, she states the presence of an unsolved scientific problem regarding the determination of the place of literary competence in the system of related phenomena, as well as its constituent elements.
She justifies the expediency of using innovative technologies in the process of forming the literary competence of high school students in the lessons of Ukrainian literature. For this purpose, the author describes the features of the use of multimedia, cloud, and social media technologies within the school course of Ukrainian literature. She proves that the use of the described technologies will not only intensify the formation of the studied competence, but also increase the motivation of students to study in Ukrainian literature classes, the formation of digital literacy in them, the development of personal qualities, as well as the formation of teamwork skills.
