RESOURCE ROOMS IN INSTITUTIONS OF GENERAL SECONDARY EDUCATION AS COMPONENTS OF INCLUSIVE EDUCATION

Abstract

The article defines that inclusive education is a way of organizing the educational process for children with special educational needs in a general secondary education institution. The basic values underlying inclusive education are highlighted. It has been proven that the creation of an inclusive environment in which all children have the opportunity to actively participate in the educational process, receive quality education and successfully integrate into society is one of the key priorities of modern education. It is substantiated that resource rooms in institutions of general secondary education are created as a new educational space in accordance with the principles of inclusiveness. It has been proven that the resource room can be used by all students of the educational institution, and not only by students with special educational needs.

The purpose of the article is to characterize resource rooms in institutions of general secondary education as components of inclusive education.

Conclusions. 1. Inclusive education is a priority for ensuring quality education for all children, including children with special educational needs. 2. Inclusive education is a way of organizing the educational process for children with special educational needs in a general secondary education institution. 3. Creating an inclusive environment in which all children have the opportunity to actively participate in the educational process, receive quality education and successfully integrate into society is one of the key priorities of modern education. 4. Resource rooms in institutions of general secondary education are created as a new educational space in accordance with the principles of inclusiveness. 5. All employees of the educational institution and parents of students should be informed about the availability of the resource room in the institution of general secondary education, its main tasks, features of the equipment and zoning. 6. The resource room can be used by all students of the educational institution, not only students with special educational needs. 7. The resource room contains functional zones - educational, household and practical.
