THE ESSENCE OF BLENDED LEARNING IN DOMESTIC INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION

The article defines the essence of blended learning in institutions of higher education. The problems of mixed education in the national higher education institution are singled out. It has been proven that it is important to select qualified personnel for services that implement and ensure the functioning of blended learning in universities. It is substantiated that the result of blended learning can be the improvement of teaching methods of individual educational components, both mandatory and optional.
It has been proven that during the implementation of blended learning, important tasks are: constant support of teachers and students at all levels; monitoring activity on the platform; user surveys; timely response to critical situations of both technical and organizational nature; scheduled updates and optimization.
The purpose of the article is to characterize the essence of the implementation of blended learning in domestic institutions of higher education.
Conclusions. 1. Blended learning is a learning method that combines synchronous (traditional, face-to-face) learning and asynchronous (digital) learning. 2. Problems of blended learning in domestic higher education: dependence on technologies; blended learning enables higher education students to work at their own pace; decrease in face-to-face communication; pattern of tasks. 3. The result of blended learning can be a change in the educational process with an increase in the overall success rate of students or digital literacy and improvement of teaching methods for individual educational components, both mandatory and optional. 4. It is necessary to select qualified personnel for services that implement and ensure the functioning of blended learning. 5.
