THE ESSENCE OF EDUCATION AND EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUTH WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS

Abstract

The article defines that the purpose of education of children with special educational needs is comprehensive development of a person as an individual and the highest value of society, his talents, intellectual, creative and physical abilities, formation of values and competencies necessary for successful self-realization. It was determined that the education of responsible citizens who are capable of conscious social choice and directing their activities for the benefit of other people is an urgent need of Ukrainian society.

It has been proven that in the process of education and upbringing of children with special educational needs, it is necessary to create an inclusive educational environment as a set of conditions, methods and means of their implementation for joint learning, upbringing and development of education seekers taking into account their needs and capabilities.

The purpose of the article is to characterize the essence of education and upbringing of children with special educational needs in domestic educational institutions.

It is substantiated that the creation of a safe educational environment as a set of conditions in an educational institution that make it impossible to cause physical, property and/or moral harm to the participants of the educational process is a necessary component of education and upbringing of children with special educational needs. It is highlighted that the education and upbringing of children with special educational needs is the basis of the intellectual, spiritual, physical and cultural development of the personality, its successful socialization.

Conclusions. 1. Education and upbringing of children with special educational needs is the basis of intellectual, spiritual, physical and cultural development of the personality, its successful socialization. 2. In the educational environment for children with special educational needs, it is also necessary to create an environment of physical and emotional safety. 3. In the process of education and upbringing, it is important to direct a child with special educational needs to inclusion in social life. 4. There is a need to improve the rules for the rehabilitation of children with special educational needs. 5. Relatives and people who are in direct contact with a child with special educational needs should perceive him as he is, support and encourage him to learn new things, stimulate him to act. 6. The organization of inclusive education for students of secondary education is provided by a teacher's assistant.
