Abstract

One of the main trends in the development of modern society is the rapid growth of the scale of social application of new information technologies.

A special place in this process is occupied by the Internet, which has significantly increased the number of means of interpersonal communication using various services: forums, blogs, online diaries, group online games, social networks, voice chats, etc., which is especially attractive to young people. A virtual environment has been formed for various types of «cyber-relationships»; in particular, new types and forms of illegal behavior of young people on the Internet have also emerged, which are characterized by significant diversity and insufficient study of both these forms themselves and the socio-psychological factors that determine the forms of aggression of young people on the Internet.

Almost every modern person is familiar with the capabilities of personal computers or virtual network communities. The number of active Internet users is constantly growing, today they are schoolchildren, students, professionals of any field.

Communication on social networks is significantly different from communication in real life. In the modern world, exchanging information via the Internet has long become a familiar part of everyday life. In recent years, social platforms have become an integral element of virtual space, uniting people from different corners of the planet. The most active users of networks such as «Telegram», «Instagram»,

«Twitter», «Facebook» or «TikTok» are young people and teenagers, who make up the largest share of the audience. Social networks have become an important part of the daily life of teenagers, as they provide a platform for communication, self-expression and exchange of information. At the same time, the impact of social networks on the psycho-emotional state of teenagers is an important and urgent problem that requires detailed research. Social networks can have both positive and negative effects on the emotional well-being of young people, in particular on the level of stress, anxiety, depression and self-esteem.

Despite the growing scientific interest in studying the psychological characteristics of interpersonal communication in a virtual environment and its impact on the illegal behavior of young people, this problem still requires deeper research.
