In the modern world, characterized by rapid socio-economic changes, high competition, and intense information flows, an individual’s ability to effectively manage their emotional state, adapt to stressful conditions, and maintain productivity is an integral component of Soft Skills. Adaptive stress self-regulation, which integrates cognitive, emotional, and behavioral strategies for managing stressful situations, determines psychological resilience, problem-solving efficiency, and the effectiveness of interpersonal interactions.

This article explores adaptive stress self-regulation as a key soft skill that enhances professional effectiveness, fosters emotional intelligence, and develops cognitive flexibility. The study analyzes scientific approaches to stress resistance, identifies an individual's adaptive resources, and substantiates the role of self-regulation as a Soft Skill in the context of professional growth and personal development. Special attention is given to practical methods for improving self-control, emotional regulation, and strategic management of behavioral responses in stressful situations.
