Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of problems of professional training of future managers, in particular in the formation of their health-oriented knowledge, skills and abilities. Teaching students of specialty 073 «Management» the basics of health-oriented management, the ability to create new and improve existing working conditions is an important task of the professional education system.

The purpose of the article is to substantiate the neediness of the formation the competence in health-oriented management issues as an integral part of the competitiveness of future managers in the labor market.

The role of professional education in the formation the competitiveness of graduates of the specialty 073 «Management» in the labor market is determined. It is proved that the system of professional education should take into account the peculiarities of social development and form future managers’ competence in health-oriented management, and the system of modern manager’s professional qualities and preferences should provide the following three levels: social success; high level of personal qualities, culture; mastery and professionalism.

It has been studied that a modern competitive graduate-manager is a socially demanded specialist who can offer in the labor market his/her ability to work as a commodity and ask for him/herself as for a professional who has advantages over others, a decent price that will ensure his/her well-being. The competitive advantages of a graduate-manager are defined as the ability to perform his/her professional duties, to perform more effective management than others can (the future manager, in addition to the required qualities, must have those that distinguish him/her from others).

It has been established that a manager who will have clear advantages and will be ready to create a health-oriented environment in the organization can be considered as socially competitive.
