ORGANIZATION OF PREVENTIVE SCHOOL EDUCATION AS A REQUIREMENT OF MODERN SOCIETY

Abstract

The materials of the article consider the peculiarities of the organization of preventive school education in the context of the requirements of modern society. Scientific psychological and pedagogical research on the issue of prevention is generalized. The social challenges of the society, which orient teachers in the introduction of innovative methods in the education system, are identified. Theoretical aspects of preventive education are presented. The directions of interpretation of the concept of preventive education are considered. The principles of the Concept of preventive education of children and youth are analyzed. The concept of advanced education, which is the basis of sustainable development, during which a new consciousness of the individual and humanity as a whole is formed, has been clarified. The concept of prosocial behavior is defined as one that represents actions aimed at the benefit of social groups and providing assistance to other people, which are carried out in order to benefit them. A set of factors that determine the formation of the adolescent’s personality and direct it in the direction of negative behavior is identified. The expediency of creating a preventive educational environment in educational institutions is substantiated.

Areas of preventive influence on adolescents to reduce cases of antisocial behavior and the formation of positive guidelines for the younger generation are identified. The need to create a monitoring system, during which research should be conducted to determine the causes of negative manifestations in the behavior of adolescents, followed by the development of preventive measures to overcome these phenomena. The social psychological and legal components underlying preventive activities are considered.

Based on the generalization of psychological and pedagogical research on the outlined problem, the features of modern processes in the pedagogical activity of teachers, which include innovations of today, at the stage of transformation of the education system, are determined. It is noted that the creation of a structural system of preventive work will help reduce the use of toxic substances, change the behavior patterns of adolescents at risk, socio-psychological adaptation of
minors in difficult life situations.
