Abstract

The article considers social educational activity as a kind of social pedagogical activity carried out in out-of-school educational institutions. It is proved that the basic concepts of social educational activity are: 1) social education (part of educational activity, the result of which is the formation of sociality as a person’s ability to interact with the surrounding social world);
2) social learning - a process that results in the development of knowledge, skills and abilities of social development through the organization of communication between participants in the socio-pedagogical process; 3) social education (combination of social education and social learning). It is determined that a specialist in social educational relations with children and youth is the driving force of social educational activities. 

The purpose of the article is to analyze the process of ensuring the implementation of extracurricular education.

It is determined that the institution of out-of-school education is an open social pedagogical system. It is highlighted that the subjects of social and educational activities are: social educators, social workers, psychologists, specialists in social educational work with children and youth, volunteers. Objects of social educational activity are: children, youth, adults, the elderly; individual or group work.

Conclusions. Thus, ensuring the implementation of out-of-school education depends on the purposeful self-managed development of out-of-school education institutions in accordance with the needs of individuals and customers for quality out-of-school education. Extracurricular education institutions need to be able to rebuild to a new level (organizational, technological and other) development. Ensuring the implementation of extracurricular education in the main areas, the functioning of various types of extracurricular educational institutions, clubs and other creative associations by activity and creating conditions for continuous updating of extracurricular education, turns extracurricular education into a driving force for innovation and knowledge economy young people.
