REVIEW OF THE SCIENTIFIC MONOGRAPH T.V. SKORYK «DEVELOPMENT OF PROFESSIONAL SUCCESS OF FUTURE TEACHERS IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS OF UKRAINE (SECOND HALF OF ХХ – BEGINNING OF THE ХХІ CENTURY)»

Abstract

The monograph highlights the processes of development of professional success of future teachers in higher education institutions of Ukraine. The author focused on a retrospective analysis of the problem of formation and development of professional success and the genesis of views on the problems of formation and development of professional success. The scientist analyzed methodological approaches to the problem of professional success and identified social and emotional intelligences as fundamental factors in the development of professional success of future teachers. Teaching technologies that can be used in the practice of successful teacher training in higher education institutions are characterized.
The author analyzes the need of modern society for professionally successful, competitive teachers, capable of self-realization in the changing conditions of professional pedagogical activity, and the real practice of their training in higher education institutions. Uncertainty of pedagogical conditions that ensure the formation of components of professional success of future teachers is substantiated.
An important scientific achievement of the author of the monograph is to outline the leading idea: in the process of professional training of future teachers the development of professional success is a complex pedagogical process of professional competence, ability to self-realization in professional activities and the presence of appropriate personal qualities. Concepts, definitions and basic categories are considered a necessary component of the professional success of a future teacher.
The scientist analyzed the results of scientific research on professional success as a factor of self-realization of the modern teacher, which allows us to conclude about the actual lack of ideas about professional success, competitiveness of modern teachers in the labor market and professional careers of higher education teachers in professional training. The monograph states that in the domestic higher school there is a need to focus on the formation of socially and professionally successful teachers.
